Supporting Art: The birth of Strategica Art Insurance

Strategica Art Insurance Division, is an important initiative that symbolizes - in a specific business line - the company's vocation for the insurance protection of art works.

"We were inspired in this choice by our passion for beauty, art and culture. Our goal is to create an innovative model in the management of risks related to public and private artistic heritage, offering a specialized risk management service to the entire art world, guaranteeing quality, professionalism and confidentiality", explains Rosa Alba Acquaviva, Director of Strategica’s Fine Art Division.

Following several years of experience, a specialized team with an international background has been created. It is capable of supporting institutions, organizations and individuals in the insurance protection of artistic heritage.

The services offered by Strategica Art Insurance are integrated solutions for risk management, risk assessment, loss prevention, evaluations and estimates, insurance coverage and damage management, with the guarantee of maximum confidentiality. Thanks to these specializations, Strategica Art Insurance collaborates actively with private collectors, artists, foundations, galleries, museums and exhibitions, art dealers, auction houses, transporters and restorers.

"The pandemic has temporarily slowed down the artistic activity, especially exhibitions, but in recent years Strategica has been supporting the organizers of numerous initiatives. In 2019 and 2020, in particular, we were the Technical Sponsor of many exhibitions at the Museo del Novecento in Florence, and we provided with all the appropriate insurance services”, adds Rosa Alba Acquaviva.

Among the events supported, the Duel project with the exhibition "Eclisse" by the duo Goldschmied & Chiari, the exhibitions "Without Time, Without Place, Without Body" by Wolfgang Laib, "Room" by Lucy + Jorge Orta, "Exit Morandi" dedicated to Giorgio Morandi, and “Campo Aperto” by Riccardo Guarneri. Strategica has also contributed through insurance for “Raffaello e Firenze” exhibition, organized by Mu.Se in Florence, and for “La Cleopatra Barberini” organized by Paolo and Carolina Zani Foundation in Cellatica (BS).
